Custom Websites
Custom websites for established businesses.
A Site Proper custom website is designed and built around your business (your services, your customers, and the decisions they need to make) rather than adapted from a purchased theme. It's for established businesses whose current website, or lack of one, no longer reflects the quality of the work they do.
Who a custom website is for
- Businesses that have grown past a DIY builder or template site
- Companies whose website undersells the quality of their work
- Established businesses that have run on referrals and are ready for a website that properly represents them
- Owners who want a site organized around how customers actually decide, not around a theme's default layout
Custom vs. template: when is custom worth it?
Templates work well for plenty of businesses. If your services are simple, your customers decide quickly, and a theme's structure fits what you need to say, a template may be the sensible choice, and we'll tell you so.
Custom is worth it when the template becomes the constraint: when your services don't fit its page structure, when your positioning gets flattened into the same layout as every competitor, or when the path from visitor to inquiry needs to work a particular way. A custom site starts from what your customers need to understand and builds the design around that.
What every custom website includes
- Strategy: discovery into your business, customers, and goals before design starts
- Custom design built around your brand and your customers' decisions
- Messaging guidance so each page says what it needs to, clearly
- Responsive development, tested on phones, tablets, and desktops
- Clear calls to action and an inquiry or contact path that fits how you sell
- SEO foundations built into the structure from the start
- Google Analytics and Google Search Console setup
- Launch support and a full handoff of accounts and access
SEO foundations are part of the build
Search visibility starts with how a website is structured, so the foundations are part of every project rather than an add-on. That means search-friendly page structure and content hierarchy, unique titles and meta descriptions, clean indexability, an XML sitemap, structured data where it's appropriate, Search Console setup, and local or service relevance where it applies.
What we don't do is sell ongoing SEO campaigns. We build the foundation properly; if you later work with an SEO specialist, they start from a site that's ready for them.

What a custom website costs
Website Essentials starts at $2,500 for a focused site of typically 1–5 core pages. Growth Websites start at $4,500 and add deeper research, copy development, and a fuller page structure. Custom / Authority projects start at $7,500 for larger sites and custom functionality.
We recommend the smallest scope that solves the actual problem, and you'll have a written price before any work begins.
